Are you using the OEM hot and cold side tubes and fittings? I had already purchased the Mountune set and had no problems with fit. I never tried to fit the OEM setup.

The kit was designed to work with the oem set up, mountune set up, atp hot side charge pipe or our hot side charge pipe. Anything that is a "full" hard pipe is just a bad idea. The engine has wayyyy to much movement for a full hard pipe. Every bump every gear change the engine is moving a decent amount to that hard pipe is pulling hard on what ever it is attached to. Turbo, intercooler, intake etc... Our systems need the long rubber or silicone hoses for the movement and flex. There have been soooo many reports of people breaking there hard pipes at the mount because of this already. Just not a good ideal.

I agree, I'm glad you don't do this and also include a mounting tab for 2 holes like the OE setup and not one, like others which haven't been enough and end up breaking off.

Well the MAP set has rubber hose at the joints and connecting All the hard parts together... It basically just has one less rubber part on the hard side pipe.

DHM would it be possible to order a crash bar alone still? If so how would one go about that? Thanks again for your continued effort to develop or platform.

Hey Russ,
Thanks for getting back to me and sorry I missed the call. I figured out the couple questions I had installing the intercooler right about after I left you a message. Super happy with fitment and the whole setup overall.

A note about using the spacers in the bottom intercooler mounting points will save you from some of the same questions I'm sure.

So did we ever get a consensus of the best/fastest way to sand down the grille?

Whatever you do take the time to not melt the material. I used a very open pore disk like a gritty sponge on an angle grinder, took material off fast but left a ton of slag that took a long time to trim off by hand.
