you did
we've cleaned out their built stock. I'll update the thread tomorrow with lead times on the next batch and if we are extending the GB price for future stock.
I'm truly amazed how this item has sold...it's only been just over 24 hours
From the review JDG posted, it sounds like you really want to uninstall any other short shifter adapter. The reviewer stated he had a pumaspeed adapter on initially, and it made the throws so short it was difficult to find neutral. Has anybody uninstalled a Mountune and successfully gotten the original pin back in the shifter arm?

Nope. I called them to ask how to remove the adapter (was switching it to a new car). Their answer was this: "We never really thought that anyone would want to go back to OEM, so we have no idea how to do that"
You can try to hammer the stock pin back in using the mountune tool or an extension and hammer. However you run the risk of shattering the shifter arm / damaging transmission internals. My suggestion would be to swap shifter assemblies with someone who wants a mountune shifter. Its 2 10mm bolts.

correct
COOLERWORX originally stated that their shifter is compatible with short shift adapters which seemingly is NOT the case now based on the review. The US Fiesta that has this shifter also does not have a short shift adapter on the trans.

The Mountune short shift is a bugger to install and remove. I remember seeing a post that someone pressed the stock pin back in but did remove the arm to do so
Just to clarify/confirm; this shifter retains the H pattern, and does NOT make it a sequential shifter motion at the shifter stick, even though the motion that the cable 'sees' is the standard H pattern, correct??

yes group 1 stock is enroute to Vegas to be individually dispatched by us
group 2 is still building orders and will ship to us in 7-10 days as they need built
Just bought this and I have the mountune quick shift.
Does anyone know the part number for the shifter arm?
I can't find it anywhere. I think I would rather get a new one than try to press the ball pin back in. Then if I need to go back to the mountune for any reason I can swap back. Assuming the arm can come off with the quick shift on it.

You may be able to source one from Ford Europe, they seem to be willing to sell the individual parts over there. Or browse through ebay and look for Fiesta ST Shift Selector or something to that effect. I have a spare, but I am holding on to it for exactly this reason.

I've been trying on eBay but no luck. I have checked all the local yards. I'm gonna keep trying. Thanks for the tip on ford Europe. How much was your spare? Thanks.

We bought a LKQ transmission for my partners car, he shattered his input shaft. Hes got a mountune SS, so i swapped his arm into the new transmission, and kept the one from that one as well.
