I for one appreciate the effort that's made for us to have parts like this. It might be a bit of a sticker shock at face value but the option is there. Custom pieces like this probably aren't easy to make. Then there's the fact that the OEM one seems to be plastic which probably wont last as long as this piece here. I also wonder if the fact that it's metal doesn't allow for expansion which equals quicker boost? (I dont know if the OEM one even expands but logically the heat and plastic under pressure might expand) I don't know what effect the metal getting warm will have on air temperatures or how warm it gets. It's on my list when I get to that point.

Can aluminum be tapped for AUX fuel/injector? (not very familiar with aux fuel yet)
These billet manifold are most likely made with a cnc machine out of a solid piece of aluminum. Technically it would just be a change to the blueprint and they could add in aux fuel ports assuming there was enough room left to allow them.

Also, yes you can tap or drill through aluminum no issues. Just if your drilling you'll need a bimetal bit. But this is all assuming that they left enough room to actually do this. Not to mention, if you look at the aux fuel rails, the holes are angled. That would be extremely hard to make with a hand drill or even a drill press. The reason our aux fuel rails cost so much is the same reason this costs so much, it needs to be made with a cnc machine and those machines can add up to a quarter of a million dollars. They are quite the investment.

I get it took a while to “make”, but how long it took them shouldn’t cost more for the consumer. They spent this long with r&d but couldn’t provide much data on how it performs? Why did they not spend one of those 5 years testing out aux fuel port options, larger throttle bodies and so forth. Is this 100% a copy of the factory, if so then why do we want this? What’s different other then the materials used? ANY information Ron?
FOR REALSSS. Like any info. On a part at this cost we shouldn't have to ask. Symptomatic of this industry tho. We're just supposed to take a vendor's word on performance with little to no relevant info. All we know is it's billet and can be had with pretty colors. lol But can't expect much. Look at the similarly lack luster description of his brake kit. Not picking on Ron. Most aftermarket companies get away with this cuz we simply let them.

What info do you want on the brake kit? I'll give you anything you need.

This is a product that people have asked for and now it's here. Yet people still find things to complain about. They will have no problem selling these to people that love the platform. Vast majority of this community are cheapskates which is fine, expected at this price point for our vehicle. But others aren't and will buy one. I'm progressing through my build and will buy one, not an "if" from me. Super excited to see this product and priced very fairly for what it is.

The 330mm brake kit I bought from whoosh has been phenomenal and I second the post above mine, you got any questions ask away. I managed to brake from 80 mph in about 60 ft with 200 tread tires. I know this because the tunnel I go through on the way to work is marked every 10 ft with a stiffener. I had to brake quickly to avoid a collision just yesterday due to a blind curve and traffic on the other side.

It’s not a matter of being cheap, it’s a matter of what you get for the money. Spending over $1,000 for maybe 10whp isn’t being cheap, it’s smart to ask questions. If you want more then the factory fuel pump has to offer this is another $1,400 on top of the added fueling system you need to put it. Who wants to do that? I think the added benefit of an lsd, which is cheaper would more then compensate for the price of those manifold when putting power to the ground. If you have Ever bought an aftermarket intake manifold or plenum then you know how expensive THIS is, and they are designed for optimum airflow and added options. Don’t forget if you want more then low 3xx whp you will still have have to add the aux fuel ON TOP of this. It’s a mimic of the factory unless some can correct me, which defeats the whole purpose of even making the damn thing to begin with.

You definitely did not stop a car from 80 miles an hour in 60 ft not possible not even close.

The shortest stopping distance car and driver has ever tested they do it from 70 mph is 127 ft.

Also most of those cars they list are extremely heavy sports cars. My car weighs 2800 lbs with me wet in it. The average Corvette is almost 3500 lbs.

Did I say 60mph no I did not.

Yes but to say that another 20 mph will take more than 30 ft and saying not even close, I also said it was an estimation, give or take 20 ft for my estimate. Either way, the performance are much better with these. Nevertheless, I admit it wasn't exactly scientific.

Those are the best braking distances they have ever tested on any vehicle. Sorry you are very wrong.

Also braking distance increases significantly as you increase your speed.

I agree with both sides on this manifold. This is definitely going to appeal to either the guys who want a show car or who want that last bit of power more than your average buyer. They probably won't go off the shelf like hot cakes but I do think they'll sell to those who care. You have to be pretty far down the rabbit hole to benefit from this though. I would but I also have almost 30 grand in my car on top of the 30 grand I paid for it.

I mean I have to take car and driver with a grain of salt because, looking for the fist in any year it was made they have no specs for except the 2019 fiesta st line which wasn't turbocharged and only made 120 hp. If they don't test every car, I doubt their information encapsulates every cars braking time therefore it isn't all inclusive and can have errors. Like I said, my stop wasn't scientific but the brakes are a good buy for anyone who wants to know. Their not just pretty, their functional and a massive improvement over stock.

Not trying to argue anymore have a good weekend.

I 100% agree! Bunch of complainers and cheapskates. (for those to whom it applies) Too many lack appreciation for the products made available to us by these businesses (which are most likely smaller establishments) Yes, sometimes products will be released that are out of some of our price ranges, but these are all custom pieces and have to be made with precision.

We'll continue to offer new products for this platform until we don't ;)
I've answered over a hundred messages between FB and IG regarding the manifold from just a picture posted, nothing more. The questions and comments were not about how to properly price a billet manifold or design one lol, just excitement that one is finally available.

Once I have the first few intakes in-house I'll gladly post new pics and as much info as possible. Anembo has tested a few versions of the manifold and are still testing the first production piece now. We will also be working/testing with someone here in the states for some additional data that I'm sure will answer most if not all questions.

Thank you.

And I’d like to add that selling a product that’s virtually untested and have limited knowledge on isn’t really a good thing, right?

As has already been stated, there's no way you stopped in 60ft. Just none. Maybe something like an Ariel Atom could do it.

All I'm pointing out is that the lack of info is intrinsic to many aftermarket vendors across every platform I've been on. No surprise there.

No name brakes from a mystery manufacturer need more info if I'm gonna trust them with my life and the lives of others around me. Period. When I do get a BBK, it won't be the mystery calipers. Strictly a reputable brand that's been making them for decades. Ya know, cuz my life literally depends on it.

And as I said already, I'm glad the manifold exists for those who want the option. I'm a bang for buck builder and I'll be skipping it. The money is better spent on something like an lsd (or two lol)
