Purchased! Can't wait to get rid of the minor drone caused by the mixed tones of the symposer and modified exhaust. Awesome deal CFM!

I actually miss the sound of the symposer after deleting it...at least I don't have that stupid plastic piece in the engine bay anymore.

Could someone please explain the purpose of this piece? Sorry for being such a noob.
The Fiesta ST has a diaphragm built into the cold side charge air piping before the intake manifold that pipes intake sounds inside the cabin via extra hardware. This eliminates that. It also allows you to run a boost gauge very easily...

The Focus ST has an electronic sound symposer that pipes sound through the car speakers but is completely different than the Fiesta.

Correct, but in regards to the Focus, the symposer is not electronic, it pulls air from the manifold through the symposer and pumps it into the cabin. The Ecoboost Mustang's is electronic and is played through the speakers.

Some people do not like the "fake" sound the symposer makes, this kit allows you to block it out. Because the symposer sees boost, you can use the symposer delete's integrated bung as a boost reference or plumb it shut with the plug (both included)

Whoops, thanks for the correction. I don't know why I've always thought the Focus symposer is electronic...
