From Car and Driver
In case you haven’t already heard, Ford is killing off its car lineup save for the Mustang and the upcoming Focus Active hatchback. In short order, buyers looking for a fun hot hatch will have to go somewhere else to get their fix. But for now, there are some great deals to be had on Fiesta ST, Focus ST, and Focus RS models sitting on dealer lots.
As Jalopnik points out, there are some seriously steep discounts available right now on Ford’s trio of excellent-driving hatchbacks. Thanks to Ford incentives and dealer markdowns, the spectacular Fiesta ST can be found for less than $17,000-that’s more than $4000 lower than its base MSRP.
If you’re willing to shell out another $1000 or so, you can step up to the more powerful and spacious Focus ST at a huge discount. Of course, if you’re looking for one of the most capable hot hatches that money can buy right now, new examples of the Focus RS can be found with markdowns of up to $6500. Considering the performance on tap, that’s a smokin’ deal. Supplies of the RS are bound to get tight, considering production stopped in early April.
