HA! My paperwork just said, "Head Gasket".
That was it!
But I know they did everything necessary.

The husband says they are usually mounting points for things.

I forgot to update I also picked up my RS from the dealer last week. So far so good, been keeping an eye for any white smoke coming from the exhaust pipes.

Mine has been good so far. Although sometimes I get a weird sputter that I hadn't noticed before. It might just be in my head.

Car is running like a champ post-recall fix. Ran great at its first track day. It was moderately warm, but car had no temp issues whatsoever.
