Tuning options

Is using the Cobb Accessport the only way to tune the RS?
Just wondering if anyone has used other options.

And are you using a piggyback tune?

Thx in advance... I am trying to learn more about tuning with this car. Seems every car I've had and mortified has its own different way of things being done.

Cobb Accessport is the most common method because there are lots of tuners out there that support it. There are also other flash devices like Diablo and SCT. I would stay away from piggyback devices since they offer no customization.

Thx- I actually wanted to make sure the Cobb WASN'T a piggyback style tune. I'm not a fan.

Me neither, Cobb AP is a Flash device. That said if you buy it directly from Cobb you end up getting their canned tune. Its better to go with guys like Adam https://adamtuned.myshopify.com/pages/ford-focus-rs

Thx. I wasn't sure. I heard a lot of Cobb tunes were piggyback ones, which is why I was asking.
