Ron asked me if I would be willing to do a install and a review and I couldn't pass it up with seeing how much the exhaust moves last time i was under the car.
If you're interested in grabbing your own you can do that HERE.
GIFs at the end of the post show a before and after of exhaust movement.
First thing you're going to notice when you get these out of the bag is that they are STIFF. They have some give to them but once you feel the OEM ones you'll see what I'm talking about.
And here's what they look like
A set of 4 will do your whole exhaust.
biggest thing about these is that they are the EXACT same length as the stock hangers, so fitment issues with the exhaust won't be a thing.
Things you'll want to have for the install:
Exhaust hanger tool for removing the old hangers
$15-$25 depending on brand and what store you buy them
Silicone spray, gonna make getting the new hangers on MUCH easier.
Now get them installed!
Use the tool to remove the old hangers, replace them one at a time and you shouldn't have to worry about supporting the exhaust at all.
Apply a liberal amount of silicone spray to the hanger on the exhaust and the new Whoosh poly hanger.
Start on the exhaust first, then slide it onto the body side. If it gives you any issues you can always use a pair of adjustable pliers to give you a hand with some accurately applied force but you probably wont need it.
They fit SO damn well, and they even look better even if it's only you that know they're there.
Now for the real question. How well do they work?
Here's the stock exhaust hangers and movement:
Now here's after all 4 have been replaced:
That alone to me makes these little guys worth their weight in gold!
Any questions post them down below!
