This is one of our first bigger kits we are bringing to the Fiesta ST market.

The custom Chromoly crash bars are lighter than stock allowing more room for this intercooler and a large increase to the air stream for intercooler and radiator. This crash bar will retain the horns and all the OEM wire harness clips. This is made out of high quality chromoly tubing just like tubing used in some of the strongest roll cages. It will come powder coated in a gloss back. Being that most will be built to order a customer color should be just a Email or PM away!

This Intercooler has over 50% more frontal area for cooling our hot outlet temps for our smaller turbos when they are pumping out higher boost pressures. We are looking for large drops of 10-20deg over other aftermarket intercoolers and 20-30deg from stock. When road racing, auto cross, drag racing, or hot days on the street having enough intercooler to stock from "heat soak" or having enough intercooler to drop temps fast or at lower speeds is important. An increase of frontal area is the best way to stop all these things from affecting your intake manifold inlet temps. This intercooler features a 24"x10.5"x3.5" core. The end tanks will feature a radius inlet to add in air flow also have a divider to add in even flow of the upper and lower part of the intercooler. Waterjet cut end tanks and billet 6061 hose ends for the highest grip and clamping force for your couplers!

I will have more updates to come. I will have full data logs compared to stock. I wanted to get this post started as we are still working on finishing these up. We have two customers getting kits out of the first batch. Please contact me if you are interested. Cost will be $900 shipped ($350 for the crash bar and $550 for intercooler) for the first couple kits for people that want the highest quality and best preforming intercooler on the market.

Billet 6061 Hose end.

In house designed before the first part is cut!

Precision waterjet flanges to retain OEM fitment!

Dimpled die for strength!

I just want to share this with you guys and everyone else.

Both cars are upgraded turbos, Both cars run withen 1psi of boost, both cars have the same intake, both cars have intake air temps within in 4deg's, and the difference is our DHM intercooler vs Cobb FMIC.

Good gracious that's an intercooler! Is that $775 for the crash bar and intercooler? Also you said there is a weight difference between the crash bars..do you know how much?

Will you have weights of the bar & intercooler compared to stock on your website eventually? Would be interested in the crash bar, but honestly might not need the big intercooler.

Also, this is awesome innovation. Good work!

Everything! The front bar does not weigh anything crazy and the bar is a decent amount lighter. I will have full weight numbers of everything soon!

For a stock turbo this intercooler is far from "too big". I will have data very soon on everything from weights, cooling, any kinda of spool changes, etc.

Thank you Russ! These are some outstanding looking products! I was set on getting an Airtec, but I may wait for this if I could get both the bar and intercooler in gloss black. Would this require cutting the factory plastics?

One of the things we take pride in is not modifying any of the OEM parts. We have a 15 FiST and a 13 FoST and i know one day we would like to put it back to stock to pass it one to the next owner not as a hacked up car. So the answer is no cutting or modification needed. Everything that can stay will bolt right up. Some plastics will be left off though.

This is an off-road only crash bar, correct?
Knowing what i know from working in a crash test lab. the stock bar is low speed like 5mph. It wads up and the frame rails start to bend. This is designed to withstand that same impact. Low speed to were it wont damage hood, rad support, intercooler, etc. I know SRT4, evo, honda, subaru, and alot of other cars have been swapping out there crash bars for a long time and never hear of it affecting insurance claims. I will be selling it as an off-road only part just like most of the parts we buy for our cars that are not carb approved or that modify anything that is no longer stock.

Hope this helps.

If that's the case, that's awesome. The mustang crowd scared me with theirs. There was a stern warning about insurance claims being denied. Definitely following this.

If you call the insurance company most of them say no! But i know and have had so many people modify theirs for intercoolers or weight but have never heard of anyone actually gettting denied a claim. BTW my good friend has one on is procharged mustang!

This is a good example. Perrin makes 100s of front mounts for subarus that dont come with a front mount stock. The 7th step is remove bumper beam. But they state that its off road only. You can search and search i have never heard of anyone getting claimed denied.

http://perrinperformance.com/i-13324317-front-mount-intercooler-for-2008-14-wrx.html

But with all this said we modify anything on our cars thats not OEM is can have back lash. So We will have a Off-Road only warning that stated just that.

Technically, they could fight you about having aftermarket wheels and tires if they really wanted.

Anyway :)
I've been lucky enough to get a good amount of previews on this and WOW, the precision and fab going into this just crazy awesome. While no one could ever REALLY know this, I think its very easy to see its likely the highest quality and best intercooler we could buy AT ANY PRICE. If you think about what SOME companys are charging for JUST the smaller coolers that are 1/2 the size of this one, and do not use as high of quality parts, its really an awesome deal cost wise.

I've posted so much about never having too much intercooler with a extra tiny under sized turbo, I'll "copy/paste" it if I need to, but... Trust me. This is not to big for a stock or big turbo. Its the solution we should have gotten a long time ago, just no one wanted to man up, put the build time in and investment for our little fist's. Everyone was too busy cratering to the Fost. We finally seem to have someone out for US.

Anyone interested in a used panda motor works intercooler? Lol.

Rod, you don't remember all the complaining I've done about not having options like the fost ? Lol. I've tried for ever to steal vendor from the fost forum, and they tell me things like "buy 25 of my product and I'll made one for the fist". I'm like, "wait... Your selling products to people, not ME, lol".

Try to get a vendor to make us a fuel setup that is mpfi or throttle body injection ( the fost has both BTW ). I'm just happy someone has stepped up.

Wow this is just great. Especially if your building a track car. The radiator would be much happier with this setup a would imagine.

I'll take pics when I get home, but I got hit from behind and pushed into a truck in front of me.

The trailer hitch of the truck crushed the factory bar and pushed the whole radiator assembly into the motor. And I know I didn't hit him *that* hard. I am pretty sure that would not have happened with this piece.

With that said... if my car isn't a total loss, I'll be ordering this combo to replace the factory parts that are now ruined.

Thanks for the effort, Russ.
