Since my drive to the dealership was in a wintry mix, and it sat out a couple days while there, it needed a bath as well and getting the interior cleaned out from mechanic funk from being sat in, worked on, etc.
Got up to 46 today and was clumsy, so I decided to go for it and wash and vacuum it out:

I haven't tried that product, but I do have "color changing" cleaners.
Personally I rarely use wheel cleaners... I find I only need some soapy water left from washing the car.

Cleaned it up last night....
Great night for a detail. Also tried a new Spray Wax by 303. Worked great... easy on and off. Smelled nice too.

Sadly I've done nothing detail-related recently....

I do plan on prepping the RS for the winter in the next month.
So I will make sure to detail out what exactly I do on here ;)

Can’t believe you’re planning for winter again. Time sure flies.

The year kinda went slow for me... I'll be ok with 2019 rolling in sooner vs later.
But I'm definitely ready for cooler, crisper temps.

Well not the RS, but I'm scheduled to clean up my sister's '92 Mustang LX this weekend...
Apparently the deck lid, roof and hood have oxidized and she wants them cleaned up before putting it away for the winter.

I decided to be nice and said ok LOL

I'll post some pics. Stay tuned...

UGH....

So there's a massive construction site that has opened up on my way to work.
With all the rain we keep having the road I take id covered constantly in mud.
My poor car is a mess right now.

I seriously may take a longer drive around it to avoid it.

But I still need to clean the car up for winter and change out the wheels and tires.

Got to prep the RS for winter yesterday. Actually took the day off work to do it (and to just have a day off).
Summer set up came off and winter set went on.

Didn't get an "after" shot when I was all done... the clouds were rolling in and I was afraid I was going to get rained on.
But this one was just after the wash.

So I admit I didn't go nuts this time... I mainly gave it a good bath and then put a fresh coat of CarPro Essence on.
In the spring I will go further and do a full decontamination of the car and really polish it up from the winter.
My main goal was to get a good protective layer on.

Today, I cleaned all the glass and applied RainX antifog on the inside of the windows and the rearview mirror. I found that it is super easy to do, although I always take my time with my own car. Tip: Don't let it dry or it leaves what looks like nasty waterspots. If it dries, immediately buff, reapply, wipe, and then buff again. Use a good inspection light when working and work a section at a time.

It got up to 50 yesterday so I cleaned up the RS...

Unfortunately the roads were wet on my ride in to work today and it's already filthy again :cautious:
