So I know there is probably an obvious answer to this, but forgive me my ignorance of how my car works. If you have a bigger turbo like the DHM280 EFR but the boost is roughly the same as stock (20 psi), how does it make 260 whp? And assuming said obvious explanation exists, you would expect to see lower temps that what you got on a stock turbo at the same or perhaps even higher boost pressures, is that correct?

Bigger turbo has more airflow potential, then match that with more fuel, and you (usually) get more power.

Yeah, never mind, I answered my own question. It's more volume so at the same pressure level you have more air. Simple physics. I think the second part of my question should be right though, because eventually all that air has to get compressed into the same amount of space, so it's going to heat up more with a bigger turbo even at the same boost psi reading.

The way i figure it since it is a direct factory replacement i reviewed the mountune and cobb install instructions and videos.

No joker other kits have some shrouds around the intercooler that are not reinstalled

I would bet that most pieces would go back on, with this being very close to stock size (as far as "footprint" area)
